Panshanger and chooses a special verse
from a psalm:
This is the day
that the Lord has made ;. Let us rejoice and be glad in it Psalm 118:24
Jo notes that in Psalm 118, the author is writing about
incredible adversity. It's not written when times are good, but when times are
really hard. The Psalmist cried out to God in anguish, feeling surrounded on
all sides, yet right in the midst of huge struggles still gives thanks and
praise to God.
